For heavy structures, AWS has the very best quality unalloyed structural steel, fine-grain structural steel and high-strength steel grades. We know our customers’ requirements, which is why we ensure that our certification is consistently accurate. The steel is always properly tested and inspected, and of course is fully traceable.

Keep welding costs down
Welding costs are a major factor in turn-key projects and heavy structures. Most of the plates we keep in stock have a carbon equivalent below the standard. Our thermomechanically rolled grades have a lower carbon equivalent than the normalized rolled grades.
