ISO 9001:2015 is in force
ISO 9001:2015 is in force. AWS is certified for this new standard. The most important change in the 2015 version is the basic principle of this standard. The old ISO 9001:2008 was fairly prescriptive. A quality manual was mandatory and the emphasis was on process description. A considerable change is made in the new standard, the organisation is the base and not the standard. ISO 9001:2015 asks to look at who you are as organization. What is the added value to your environment and what are the business risks? Based on that, you assess what the necessary measures are. It is important that everything comes together in a supportive quality management system. However, the goal stays the same (off course), we as AWS want to master all processes in our organisation and improve continuously so we can always provide you with the best quality and service.
