Record breaking at Dillinger!
A special application challenged the Dillinger development team: the high wear resistance of a DILLIDUR 400 should be reached into the core of an extremely thick 200 mm plate.
Therefore, Dillinger developed a tailor made variation of DILLIDUR 400. Of course, this quality should be also reliably suitable for thermal cutting and welding even in this extreme plate thickness.
The reliable processing was proven directly in a first order at subsidiary Ancofer Stahlhandel GmbH. Various flame-cut parts were easily cut with Dillinger’s information and are already on the way to the end customer.
With the wear resistant DILLIDUR-grades Dillinger manage again to combine the properties which are so important for our customers: ultra-high wear resistance plus reliable processability, even in a record plate thickness of 200 mm.
