Seminar TMCP-Steel exchange of knowledge and experience

Wednesday 15 November  the Verkadefabriek in ‘s-Hertogenbosch hosted the first TMCP seminar that AncoferWaldram Steelplates B.V. organized in partnership with our parent company Dillinger (www.dillinger.de) and guest speakers of Roza Lastechniek B.V.  and HSM Structures. Among the interested were welding engineers, consultants, QA engineers, procurement officers, as well as government officials  etc. In short, everyone that is involved in decision making on which material is best suited for a specific project, where quality has to be guaranteed and delivery within budget is required.

Theory and Practice
The theme of the seminar was to provide a platform to exchange knowledge and experience around the applications and cost saving benefits of TMCP material in production processes. On behalf of Dillinger Mr. Wolfram Hölbling and Mr. Tobias Lehnert explained the manufacturing process of TMCP steel. They showed the benefits of and also explained how Dillinger guarantees constant quality this material.

Mr. Arjan Roza (Roza Lastechniek B.V.) and Mr. Jeroen Bodt (HSM Structures) gave a practical overview on TMCP steel. Arjan Roza explained the benefits during the welding process. Jeroen Bodt gave an insight in this material in daily  practice.

We look back on a successful afternoon with informative presentations and enthusiastic discussions where it became clear that the use of TMCP steel in fabrication processes can help to produce more reliable and cost efficiently.
